Our team

Dr. Helena Urrea-Feldsberg
Dr. Helena Urrea-Feldsberg is a third generation dentist. *Dr. Helena* was born in Colombia and received a Doctor in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the Javeriana University in Bogota. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine for three years where she received a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Master of Dental Science Degree (M.D.S.). Dr. Helena is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is Board Certified in her specialty. She had her own practice in Cali, Colombia for several years before moving to South Florida with her family where she has been practicing in Pediatric Dentistry in Dade and Broward counties. It is an asset to communication that she is fluent in both English and Spanish. For Dr. Helena being a dentist has always been her passion. She was involved in teaching at the Dental School in Cali, Colombia, and was a Visiting Faculty at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Helena was also an invited speaker at several dental national and international conventions in her home country. She was an active member of the Colombian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a past-president of the Colombian Society of Dentistry for Children. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, South Regional Representative for the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Dental Consultant for the Florida Cleft Palate Association. She is also an Adjunct Faculty at NOVA Dental School, for the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition to having hospital privileges for General Anesthesia cases, Dr. Helena is also a part of the staff of the Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Team at Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital in Hollywood, FL. On her free time she enjoys life with her husband Daniel and their children Mauricio, Eliana and David and granddaughter Hannah. She loves to read, cook and enjoy nature.

Dr. Regina Gelman
Affectionately known as “Dr. Gini” by her colleagues and patients, Dr. Regina Gelman is dedicated to making every visit to Broward Pediatric Dentists a positive and successful experience for each child. She has a deep understanding of the energy, curiosity, and unique learning processes of children, and she takes great joy in teaching them about the importance of oral health. Becoming a pediatric dentist has been a lifelong dream for Dr. Gini, and she considers it a privilege to combine her expertise in dental care with her passion for working with children. Dr. Gini completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, and holds a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, Venezuela. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish, allowing her to communicate seamlessly with a diverse range of patients and their families. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice, with a strong focus on prevention, personalized care, and building trust with her young patients. She is known for her thorough approach, taking the time to understand each child’s individual needs. Dr. Gini is always available to address any concerns and offers tailored treatment options for each patient. She believes in treating every child as if they were her own—with empathy, patience, and clear, age-appropriate explanations. During appointments, Dr. Gini can often be heard singing children’s songs with her younger patients or chatting about the latest movies with older ones. For the past six years, Dr. Gini has worked as an Associate Pediatric Dentist in Doral, FL, where she has earned the trust of both her patients and her colleagues. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
